PROJECT ASSISTANT

Career Opportunity

Our growth and continued success has created the opportunity for an experienced Project Assistant to join our Technical Services team.  You will provide technical and administrative support to our construction administration team.  The successful candidate must be ridiculously organized and technology savvy.  The ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously and assure the completion of a steady workload is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the organization and structure of documentation. Performing quality control reviews of construction specifications, contracts, reports, and other correspondence.

Reformatting the Master Specification library.

Edit technical content for a variety of construction documentation.

Construction product and material research.

Researching and verification of construction codes, methods, and testing standards.

Develop spreadsheets and maintain databases, ensuring information is complete and accurate.

Assist with a variety of construction administration duties including meetings minutes, punch lists, processing submittals and request for information, posting plans and specifications, QA/QC, scheduling, etc.

Skills and Experience:

Working knowledge of specifications and contract administration procedures desired.

Solid technical proficiency of the following MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

In-depth knowledge of using Microsoft Word Styles is needed.

Experience with Blue Beam and Plan Grid preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Proficient technical skills as you work with our team compose clear and accurate routine and non-routine correspondence.
