Zimmerman Architectural Studios is honored to be a two-peat Best Place To Work in Milwaukee.

For the second year in a row, Zimmerman Architectural Studios is a Milwaukee Business Journal Best Place To Work. This award is based on scores from favorable survey responses collected in the annual Quantum Workplace survey. It exemplifies our efforts to create a positive, fun, collaborative environment. It solidifies our team’s ongoing dedication to carrying out our values.

Participating in this survey and reviewing this feedback is crucial to our continued efforts toward an outstanding work environment. “I’ve never felt as supported to learn and grow as I have at Zimmerman,” shared one team member. “It’s rare to feel happy to arrive in the morning and have a sense of purpose. At Zimmerman, I experience this each day.”

Positive support and affirmation are outstanding alone but even better when paired with fun, camaraderie, and a “breathtaking” office. “Zimmerman also understands the importance of having fun at work – it’s one of our values, and we take it seriously!”

We’re proud that our team’s values and collective experience continue to result in ongoing recognition.

ASID Wisconsin Design Excellence Gold Award

We are so thrilled to share that the new Milwaukee Public Library Good Hope Branch, the new South Wood County YMCA and Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area facilities were awarded the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Wisconsin Design Excellence Gold Award.

As part of an initiative to replace a number of existing older library branches, the new Milwaukee Public Library Good Hope branch brings a top-notch facility including spaces for a Community Room, Makerspace, children’s activities, computers, and a Teen Area. Our interior designers and architects brought an innovative feel to all spaces with bright colors, clean lines and flexible configurations.

The YMCA adaptive reuse project transformed a vacant shopping center into a thriving community hub where all ages can be stronger together. With input from leadership, staff and the community, our interior designers and architects took great care to design vibrant spaces for art, music, and STEM classes, a teaching kitchen, group exercises, aquatic center, Zen Zone, and so much more.
