Old Republic Insurance Company – Risk Management

Several years after completing a tenant improvement planning and design project for Old Republic, Zimmerman was re-engaged to design a 9,850 sq. ft. renovation of the first floor of the Deer Creek Crossing office building.

This project provides a new Main Reception Desk, administrative offices, an executive conference room, an executive board room, two kitchenettes, two multi-purpose rooms, a 32-seat computer lab, private breakout/phone rooms and a collaborative work café.  Ample exterior wall glass allows natural daylight into the café and provides pastoral views to the surrounding business park for Old Republic employees, clients and guests.  Well-equipped technology conference rooms facilitate video conferencing and online collaboration.  Each conference room includes video monitors, conference table microphones and speakers installed within the ceilings.

Backfill of the existing lobby and cafeteria, which had been completed in a prior phase of renovation, facilitates staff expansion.  Those spaces will be converted to additional open office cubicles and private offices, allowing Old Republic to expand its staff.

The work took place in a fully occupied, four-story office building.
