Wershay began his career with Zimmerman in 1997 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. Working predominantly in the firm’s educational studio he acted as project manager on K-12 and higher education & training center projects including: West Bend Silverbrook Middle School Expansion; Madison School District’s Olson Park Elementary School; MPS’ Sherman and Burbank School Expansions; numerous technical college assignments at Blackhawk Technical College, Waukesha Technical College, Madison College, Lakeshore Technical College and Milwaukee Area Technical College. He also served as project manager for several major improvements on the Henry Maier Festival Grounds (Summerfest) including the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse, Miller Lite Oasis and North End Rock Stage. Wershay managed Zimmerman’s multiple-award-winning adaptive re-use and conversion of a 110 year old power plant in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley which is the firm’s new “City Lights” headquarters. He is familiar with a variety of construction delivery methods, including traditional design / bid / build; design / build and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
