Aurora Healthcare – Kenosha Medical Center Master Plan
Aurora Healthcare Kenosha Medical Center is a 324,606 square foot facility with 73 inpatient beds and a three-story attached clinic. Zimmerman was engaged to provide planning analysis for Aurora’s Kenosha Medical Center which was considered to be pressed for space. As the services at the facility have grown, the hospital has not been able to support the growth in an effective manner. Zimmerman led a master planning process to help come to an understanding of how the hospital, along with the supporting clinics, could re-organize, make the best use of existing space, and determine which functions might be able to move off-site, and develop logical plans for future expansion.
