Franklin Police Station
After careful contemplation of a previous space needs analysis, the City of Franklin hired Zimmerman to design a new, free standing law enforcement center next to the existing municipal complex. The new single story center has a Jeffersonian style exterior appearance which relates well to many of the surrounding residences in this suburban Milwaukee community and also conveys the city’s desired civic image. Included in the center are several multi-purpose / community center / municipal court rooms. A secure sallyport, underground parking, dispatch center, records storage, police administration offices and firearms training center are also included in the structure.
