Kenosha County Combined Dispatch Center

Kenosha County initially engaged Zimmerman to provide planning and design services for a new/free-standing emergency communications and data center. The Kenosha Sheriff’s department and several other county agencies expressed additional space needs that Zimmerman ultimately accommodated through an expansion of the County’s existing public safety building.  The 94,000 square foot expansion and renovation provides a complex 60,400 square foot three-story addition and 33,700 square foot of remodeled space. The facilities upper level includes a state-of-the-art 911 Emergency Operations center and information systems space.  Additional agencies included in the project included the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, City of Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha City/County Joint Services and Kenosha County Emergency Services Division.
