Fox Point Police Station
Zimmerman began working with the Village of Fox Point in 1997. Our initial charge was to create the framework to study various expansion options, trace cost comparisons with remodeled construction and study how the Village of Fox Point Police Department might consolidate into a joint facility with the Village of Bayside Police Department. Upon completion of that report, Zimmerman was commissioned to further explore additional concepts relating to the potential of additional agencies housed within a joint facility. To facilitate this process, Zimmerman was on-call to meet with the Department, forward up-dated cost data, apply new problem-solving skills to create an array of solutions, and furnish our expertise in programming, planning and budgeting for sound police department buildings. A new, free-standing, police facility was ultimately favored by the community and Zimmerman was subsequently engaged to design the building which was completed in 2008.
