Waukesha County Health and Human Services Center

Zimmerman was initially engaged to provide departmental space needs analysis and develop a building program for a new health and human services building for Waukesha County. Zimmerman was subsequently also engaged to provide full design, construction documentation and construction administration services for the facility which is anticipated to be completed in 2013.  Located in the center of the historic Moor Downs Golf Course, the state of the art Health and Human Resources building consolidates the County Public Health Department with Adolescent and Family Services, Child and Family Services, Aging and Disability Support, Veterans Services, Clinical Support and Business Support.  The building employs sustainability principles and becomes a highly visible public destination while respecting the colors and materials of nearby County buildings and celebrates beautiful views of the golf course.
