Business Development Manager

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to support our Healthcare Studio. You will be responsible for generating and supporting the Studio’s business development initiatives. You will research and identify new opportunities, generate leads, and develop strategies to engage us with new healthcare clients. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through increasing our visibility, our market share, and forging strong relationships with clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct research and generate new leads and relationships; networking across multiple sources, connecting dots, and creating new opportunities.
  • Identify and act upon trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Arrange meetings with current and prospective clients to clearly articulate the strengths, culture, and brand of our firm.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, consultants, community leaders, and public officials.
  • Make introductions between potential clients, Studio Directors, and other content experts.
  • Participate and facilitate the participation of staff in professional organizations, conferences, social and PR events, creating recognition and opportunities for our firm.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the development, design, and construction of healthcare facilities within the communities that we serve, or target to serve, communicating this with the leadership team.
  • Participate in and help prepare for interviews and presentations.

Interior Design Technician

We are seeking an Interior Design Technician to join our team. This position will provide support to our Interiors team which includes design consultation, project collaboration, and space planning.  You will support and collaborate with the team to develop creative, functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions for interior environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Support schematic-level design, programming, space planning, and client needs assessment as assigned.
  • Research materials and concepts to advise and support the design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials (finish boards, renderings, etc.) and coordinate with the design team for client presentations.
  • Utilize drafting/design software, ensuring accuracy and that standards and protocols are maintained.
  • Create and edit drawings, thoroughly and accurately, depicting the design direction and decisions made.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture with internship experience in the design field.
  • Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop and other design/rendering software.
  • Skilled working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of applicable building codes, regulations and standards.
  • Well organized; able to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Interior Designer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer to join our team.  As a member of our Interiors Studio, you will help to fulfill the vision of design possibilities, deliver strategic design solutions, and support our mission to understand and serve our clients’ needs.

What you’ll do:              

  • Understand how to collaborate with clients and our architectural and engineering teams in all phases of design to develop interior design solutions for a variety of project types.
  • Research materials and concepts to advise and support the client and design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
  • Demonstrate creativity in solving design challenges, while preserving program objectives and requirements.
  • Review documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Participate in project pursuits, interviews and various business development activities including RFQs and RFP submissions.

Who you are:

  • Interior Design or Architecture Degree and 5+ years’ experience in design.
  • NCIDQ certification along with professional licensure preferred.
  • Highly-technical, innovative thinker who possess strong problem-solving skills to develop powerful solutions.
  • Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software and can provide specifications required for interiors.

Junior Architectural Designer

We are seeking a Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. This position personifies a strong sense for the aesthetic qualities of a project and collaborates with the team to develop creative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish the conceptual design direction in response to the project requirements and the client’s goals and objectives.
  • Primarily responsible for the conceptual and schematic design of a variety of projects, having continued involvement through the completion of the project to assure that the design vision and intent are met.
  • Work with Project Managers to orchestrate the design process.
  • Maintain an understanding of current design trends, products, construction systems and building codes.
  • Participate in project pursuits, interviews, and varied business development activities.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ design experience, working on projects with various degrees of complexity.
  • A strong understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other design/rendering software.
  • Familiar with a variety of building types including corporate, industrial, healthcare, multi-family, campus master planning.
  • A strong aesthetic sense relating to form, shape and color, and the ability to develop creative and pleasing design solutions.
  • Well organized; able to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Healthcare Project Manager

We have an opportunity for a talented Healthcare Project Manager.  You will be responsible for project planning, design, schedule, and team communication for a portfolio of healthcare projects.  You will work in a creative team-focused environment and engage in the planning and development of creative and aesthetically pleasing solutions for our healthcare clients.

What you’ll do:              

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients and be responsible for maintaining the relationship; keeping the client satisfied and apprised of project progress.
  • Lead and orchestrate the project design team and ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken to ensure work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the design intent.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contracts.
  • Plan, organize, and manage each project phase. Provide on-going communication through team meetings and team updates.
  • Oversee the development of technical solutions in response to design and code requirements and assure that design solutions have technical integrity.
  • Responsible for healthcare market/varied size projects.
  • Participate in project pursuits, interviews, and various business development activities.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare facility design.
  • Architectural registration preferred.
  • Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design/rending software.
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of technical healthcare design requirements including knowledge of healthcare codes and guidelines when applicable.
  • Experience leading effective meetings; exceptional interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery which may be multiple, large or complex in scope.
